📢 Strengthening Partnership on Social Protection in ASEAN On 21 April 2026, the ASEAN Training Centre for Social Work and Social Welfare (ATCSW) held a fruitful discussion with DSWD Academy to explore potential collaboration on Social Protection curriculum development. The ATCSW team was led by Mr. Chinchai Cheecharoen, Executive Director of ATCSW, and Dr. Akiko Yokoyama, JICA Expert at ATCSW. Engaged in a constructive exchange with the DSWD Academy team, led by Ms. Janet Armas, Assistant Secretary, DSWD Central Office, and Ms. Precilia A. Docuyanun, Director III of DSWD Academy.

The discussion focused on key areas of collaboration, including curriculum development, knowledge sharing, and capacity building to strengthen the social service workforce across the ASEAN region. The meeting was further enriched by an insightful presentation from Marigrace D.
